Upcoming ASTRAIOS Info Sessions - Discover Space Opportunities

As part of its mission to inspire and support the next generation of space professionals, the ASTRAIOS project is launching a series of Info Sessions aimed at students, early-career researchers, and young professionals across Europe.


These engaging online events will highlight academic, training, and career opportunities in the rapidly evolving space sector, while offering participants direct access to insights from experts, researchers, and experienced professionals.


Info Session 1 - Discover Space Opportunities: Study, Work & Research Across EU-27 & UK

Date & time: Thursday, 16 May 2025, 13:00 - 14:00 CET

Location: online (Microsoft Teams - link provided upon registration)

Session Highlights:

  • Introduction to the ASTRAIOS project

  • Overview of the space sector and job market, including key career paths and emerging fields

  • A walk-through of the ASTRAIOS web catalogue, showcasing over 140 space-related degree programmes and 3,800+ courses

  • Personal journeys from successful woman in the space sector

  • Q&A with the speakers

  • Announcements about future sessions and opportunities

Two more ASTRAIOS Info Sessions are planned for 2025:

Info Session 2

Date & time: Thursday, 6 June 2025, 13:00 - 14:00 CET

Location: online


Info Day 3 (In-person)

Date: October 2025 (exact date TBC)

Location: Technical University of Crete (TUC), Greece


Each session will explore different aspects of the space sector, including mobility programmes, funding opportunities, and how to build a competitive profile for a space career.
