ASTRAIOS Joins WIA-Europe Symposium 2025

ASTRAIOS is delighted to confirm its participation in the 4th edition of the Women in Aerospace-Europe (WIA-Europe) Symposium, a premier event dedicated to advancing diversity, knowledge, and leadership within the aerospace sector. Under the theme "Narrowing the Knowledge Gap," this year's symposium will present a curated series of online lunchtime sessions addressing critical topics such as intergenerational knowledge transfer, aerospace education, DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility) initiatives, leadership development, and regional collaboration.

On Thursday, 15 May, from 13:00 to 14:00 CET, ASTRAIOS will take part in Event 4: Space Education in Europe – WIA-Europe Partners and Scholarships. This session will explore the current landscape of space education across Europe, shedding light on career development opportunities, specialized master’s programmes, and exclusive scholarships available to WIA-Europe members.

Joining distinguished institutions such as the International Space University (ISU), Technical University Vienna (TU Wien), European Institute of Innovation and Sustainability (EIIS), and the Institute of Advanced Architecture in Catalonia (IAAC), ASTRAIOS will showcase its contributions to nurturing the next generation of space leaders. The session will also address the challenges and innovations driving educational excellence in the EU-27 aerospace sector.

By participating in this important dialogue, ASTRAIOS reaffirms its commitment to fostering educational advancement, accessibility, and leadership within the aerospace education and industry.

We invite all aerospace professionals, aspiring leaders, and those seeking to enter the sector to join us for this inspiring and informative event.

Stay tuned for more details soon.
