ASTRAIOS partners at this year’s Women in Aerospace Europe Symposium

The ASTRAIOS project is delighted to announce that it will be participating and having different roles during this year’s Women in Aerospace Europe Symposium.

This year’s Women in Aerospace Europe Symposium is taking place 13:00-14:00 CEST every day over 5 days from May 13 to 17 and focuses on uncovering industry skills with the moto “Find your space in aerospace: Uncovering Industry Skills 2024”.

On May 13, our partner, Dr. Christie Maddock, Associate Professor at the University of Strathclyde is a speaker in the first session entitled “Are you in a Mid-Career-Life Crisis? Strategies for Growth”. This essential session will delve into the mid-career landscape within the aerospace industry exploring strategies for addressing skill gaps, sector mobility, career breaks, and continuous learning. The session will also give valuable insights and practical approaches for upskilling and reskilling.

On May 14 and 15, Heidi Thiemann, Director of the Space Skills Alliance will be moderating the sessions focusing on Transferable skills (Part 1: Space Economy, Commerce & Governance and Part 2: Green Skills and AI in Aerospace)

We are very pleased to be part of this Symposium and are looking forward to having fruitful discussions and exchanges.

This event is free of charge and organized online via zoom upon registration.
